Before and After

Dave and Lori Simpson used ZDB for their kitchen design and remodel. We worked closely with architect Alex Chiappetta to craft this custom solution.

BEFORE

We completely gutted the kitchen space and installed skylights, new windows and door, and fitted custom cabinets. In addition to the kitchen remodel, we made several “green” upgrades to their home. Energy-efficient tasks included:

–Installation of two on demand water heaters to save energy and water

–Replacement of most of the windows in their house with energy saving windows

–Installation of insulation made of old blue jeans and blown-in cellulose

–Laying of linoleum manufactured from a natural linseed product

DURING

The Simpson family lived in the house during the remodels, and were happy with how clean we kept the job site – especially that we vacuumed during and at the end of every day.

AFTER

Clean, light and airy design - contrasts well with red accented flooring. An open plan layout provided for easy access.
